Editor’s Article on HGH Use, Benefits and Side Effects

liquid hghOkay, sooner or later, someone has to talk about the elephant in the room. In the case of GHBoosters.com, that means talking about Human Growth Hormone use and the effects it can have.

Why? – Because people want to know.

From my perspective, it’s much better to discuss it and educate people about it than treat it like some mysterious taboo subject or forbidden fruit. Frankly, that attitude tends to feed the curiosity of people already debating whether to use synthetic HGH injections for gains in body composition.

I’d prefer that those people were better informed before doing ANYTHING.

HGH in the Human Body

Pituitary gland in the brainThere are 3 basic processes that occur in the brain before HGH is released.

  1. The Hypothalamus releases Human Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone (HGH-RH)
  2. The Hypothalamus releases Somatostatin (inhibits HGH release)
  3. The pituitary gland produces Human Growth Hormone

The balance of HGH-RH and Somatostatin released by the hypothalamus determine how much Human Growth Hormone is released from the pituitary gland. This factor is determined by a multitude of other inputs, including diet and exercise.

After the levels are dialled in and the HGH (which is a protein) is released, it starts performing many functions:

  • Stimulates cells to increase in size
  • Encourages faster cell division (i.e. more cells)
  • Increases amino acid transport through cell membranes
  • Increases rate of cellular protein synthesis

All of these functions are where HGH gets its reputation for being a strong anabolic agent. And of course, this is why someone once saw the benefit of introducing more than the natural release of HGH into the body.

Another important function of HGH is to:

  • Cause cells to utilize fat more readily as fuel

So, you can see that not only is HGH a lean muscle builder, but a fat burner as well. But before you rush off to find some underground black market dealer, let’s get through the rest of the article.

The HGH Decline

HGH reduction with ageLike most processes in the human body, our natural HGH levels decline with time. In fact, the period where you are growing as a child and adolescent is the peak of your HGH production. It stands to reason though, as you need to level off at some point otherwise your mother would still be buying you horrible shoes every six months.

The thing is, you may appreciate the need to stop growing taller, but a certain amount of HGH would still be abundantly useful. Such benefits as muscle recovery and growth, bone health and density and repairing cartilage are all still well and truly welcome at any age…Oh, yeah, and there’s that fat-burning business, don’t forget that.

Who wouldn’t want more HGH kicking around their blood stream?

And then there’s athletes.

Human Growth Hormone and Athletic Performance

Growth hormone athleteMore muscle, stronger bones, faster recovery – Yep, they all sound like things on an athlete’s ‘to do’ list. Well, anyone’s really. It’s pure, physical health, you’d be crazy not to.

It is no surprise that HGH has been used in medicine, for certain diseases and illnesses where its use would be a significant advantage. And of course for athletic performance enhancement.

Try to read this without squirming, but the original HGH used for both purposes was extracted from the pituitary glands of dead people.

Say what?

Afraid so. It was called Grorm and may actually still be found today on the black market. Its use was discontinued as a medical application because it could carry a rare brain disease that may be passed on to the poor people being treated. So, DO NOT use it.

Some terrifyingly dedicated individuals continue to inject grorm for bodybuilding purposes, which just goes to show how ambition can still outweigh risk in the mind of an athlete.

Side Effects – Why Not To Use HGH

If I haven’t put you off using black market growth hormone with stories of Grorm, then I hope to with this section. Side effects.

These can also be classed as secondary effects because they should be viewed as almost inevitable. These days, pharmaceutical companies talk about ‘side effects’ on their commercials as though they are a petty annoyance barely worth mentioning. You’ve heard it before, “…occasionally people have reported vomiting blood from their eyeballs…”. Hang on a sec, this stuff they are trying to sell is allergy medication. I think I’ll suffer the sneezes, thanks all the same.

My point is ‘secondary effects’ makes them sound like they are going to come after the primary effects, and that’s the way you have to view the use of hormones.

Secondary effects of HGH use include:

  • Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
  • Joint swelling
  • Joint pain
  • Organ enlargement
  • Acromegaly (pronounced thickening/growth/bulging of bones typically forehead, cheekbones and jaw)
  • Heightened risk of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma (cancer originating from white blood cells)

HGH is still approved to be prescribed by Doctors who see a medical application. The courses they prescribe will also remain within viable limits and the patient constantly monitored for progress and any signs of the onset of secondary/side effects.

Aside from serious medical need, it is not recommended to inject human growth hormone.

The Alternative – Safe HGH Boosters

Prime Male top T boosterGiven that the hypothalamus can regulate HGH levels within certain parameters (i.e. HGH which originates from the pituitary and not direct injection) it makes sense that if we can elevate our growth hormone release from the pituitary, we can safely benefit from the increase.

Getting closer to our youthful level of HGH activity is possible by stimulating the pituitary gland or inhibiting somatostatin via the actions of certain ingredients. Exercise will create the need for more HGH to be released, and so the environment is set.

Supplements that contain these ingredients are being researched and developed more and more. If you would like to find out more about them and what they can do for you in a safe and controlled manner, follow the link below.

Last Thoughts from Me

I don’t know who you are. You might be a gym junkie or a professional athlete under pressure from an edgy coach looking to maximize your potential. You might just be reading out of interest in the subject.

Whatever your level and however you have found this article, if you take one thing away from it, let it be this:

Your body is 100% completely and forever your own, so you can do what you want with it…but you only ever get one.

Take care of it.
