Has GH Factor got the X Factor

Beverly International GH FactorIf there was a competition for the most poorly-designed website Beverley International would be a serious contender. The site is clunky, hard to navigate, and looks a mess; so it’s fair to say their official web presence does not make a good first impression, but as they are not trying to sell their website design skills we’ll try not to hold it against them.

The company was founded in Laguna Hills, California, in 1967 so the company has been around for quite some time and produces a number of health and fitness supplements. GH Factor is designed to boost the body’s levels of human growth hormone (HGH).

  • Functions as a cell volumnizer, expediting delivery of nutrients into the cell
  • Enhances pump and natural GH response

What is GH Factor and how does it Work?

HGH is a natural substance secreted by the pituitary gland. It is useful to many of the body’s functions, but when the average Jo (or Josephine) reaches their twenties the pituitary gland starts slacking off and by the time most people reach their 60th birthday their HGH secretion level will probably be 80% less than it was 40 years previously.

That’s a pity because HGH helps the body heal quickly and is capable of boosting muscle growth. What time may take away though, some supplements can reclaim. Effective HGH boosters contain ingredients that stimulate the pituitary gland and ensure it pumps out enough HGH to turbocharge the healing process and assist with muscle growth.

As with any HGH booster though, how well GH Factor is likely to perform will depend on the choice of ingredients used.

Key Ingredients

Each (6 capsule) dose provides:

  • Arginine Pyroglutamate (2400mg) : Provides the amino acid L-Arginine
  • Lysine Monohydrochloride (2400mg): Provides the amino acid L-Lysine

Two amino acids—that’s it. There are no other ingredients. The HGH boosting ability of both ingredients has failed miserably in some tests, but other tests indicate they can work very well when combined.

In one study 15 healthy male volunteers (aged 15 to 20) were given 1200mg of arginine pyroglutamate combined with L-lysine hydrochloride and a significant rise in HGH was noted at 30 to 120 minutes after supplementation.

In a separate study volunteers were given 1,500 mg L-arginine and 1,500 mg L-lysine shortly before exercising and it appeared to make no difference to HGH levels, but when the same proportions of the ingredients were given to volunteers that were resting hormone secretion increased.

It is clear that further study is needed, but when used in the right way, at the right time, the combination may have merit.

Dosage

The recommended dose is six capsules per day and GH Factor users apparently have a choice of two ways to use the supplement.

  • Two capsules, taken three times a day, on an empty stomach (30 minutes prior to meals, weight training or cardio)
  • Three capsules first thing on the morning followed by three capsules at bedtime.

Customer Feedback

Very little customer feedback could be found at the time of this review, but the feedback that is available suggests GH Factor may have some value as a HGH booster.

“Good product for naturally boosting GH levels. A must for guys over 35 or those who want to raise their GH levels naturally.”

“GH Factor is good. But it can make you have some stomach issues. Works well with Lean Out and 7-Keto!”

“Beverly International is the best, bottom line! I have tried almost everything else and I have never had the results that I have with BI products. If you want gains and don’t want to waste money, this is the stuff you should get.”

Health Considerations

Beverly International states anyone who has an existing health condition should seek medical advice prior to using GH Factor. They offer the same warning to pregnant women, nursing mothers, and women who are trying to become pregnant.

Product Availability and Pricing

Each bottle of GH Factor contains 180 capsules and costs $46 when purchased from Beverly International’s online store. The capsules are also available from Amazon and many other online stores, and in most cases a $5 or $10 saving can be made by choosing one of these options.

Guarantee

A 60 day money back guarantee is offered.

The Bottom Line

As far as the price goes, GH Factor is one of the more pocket-friendly HGH options and it is certainly possible the ingredients used will offer some benefits, but many other products boast far superior blends for a similar price.

GH Factor is a little basic and customer feedback is limited. It’s not so much a HGH contender as a HGH “also ran”, but with its competitive pricing and 60 day money back guarantee, it may be worth a try.
