HGH Promino Plus IGF-1 is a human growth hormone (HGH) releaser manufactured in the USA by ISS Research. According to the company website ISS Research is on a mission to “bring to market the cleanest, purest, and most effective sports nutrition products”, but the site fails to provide any information about the company other than a North Carolina address and telephone number.
It’s great that they make it easy for customers to get in touch, but such a lack of basic information fails to create a good impression and the HGH Promino Plus IGF-1 sales page contains only the haziest of product overviews:
“Promino Plus is a two part precursor system: The AM formula is designed to help start the day mentally alert. The PM formula is designed to gently assist in recovery and relaxation.”
Fortunately for the consumer some third party online retailers are more forthcoming with important information such the ingredients used and the recommended dosage.

What is HGH Promino Plus IGF-1 and how does it Work?
HGH Promino Plus IGF-1 is an effervescent powder. Each box contains 60 (8g) sachets. The product is designed to offer 24-hour nutritional support so there are 30 AM sachets and 30 PM sachets.
The main promised benefits are:
- Wake up and be clear (thanks to the AM formulation)
- Relax and feel restful (courtesy of the PM formulation)
Of course there is a little more to it than that or the entire product could be replaced by a good strong cup of coffee and a few sleeping pills. If it works in the intended way, HGH Promino Plus IGF-1 should also stimulate the pituitary gland and cause it to secrete extra HGH.
HGH is an important hormone that is as renowned for its anti-ageing abilities as it is for its prowess for encouraging the growth of lean muscle tissue, but once adolescence is out of the way, the body drops off on its HGH production rate. By the age of 25 the amount produced is significantly retarded—hence the value of effective HGH releasing products, but ingredients are everything and if ISS Research has got it wrong HGH Promino Plus IGF-1 will be nothing more than an expensive fizzy drink.
HGH Promino Plus IGF-1 Ingredients
The AM and PM sachets both contain proprietary blends so no inclusion rates are available for individual ingredients.
- Proprietary AM Blend (1465mg): Endo-Pro Plus™, (Taurine, and Gaba), ProCosanoid, [Trimethylxanthine , (Caffeine)], L-Glutamine, L-Arginine, L-Tyrosine, L-Lysine, L-Theanine, Succinamic Acid.
- Proprietary PM Blend (1245mg): Endo-Pro Plus™, (Taurine, and Gaba), L-Glutamine, L-Arginine, L-Tyrosine, L-Lysine, L-Theanine, Succinamic Acid.
Both blends appear to be exactly the same, but the AM blend contains an additional proprietary blend—ProCosanoid—that provides caffeine and Trimethylxanthine (caffeine with a technical name). Caffeine is a renowned stimulant so the AM blend will probably help clear bleary eyes and fuzzy heads, but it can also cause side effects.
The brunt of both formulations appears to be an amino acid mix.
Some studies show L-Arginine and L-Lysine can stimulate the pituitary gland in the desired manner when they are combined. Gaba also stands out as being a particularly beneficial inclusion and the HGH releasing abilities of L-Glutamine have also been proven in at least one study, which was later published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.
It’s not the most ambitious formulation on the market, but it does have merit. Unfortunately the product may still fail to work in the promised manner if the inclusion rates are too low so the lack of inclusion rates is a real issue.
HGH Promino Plus IGF-1 Customer Feedback & Testimonials
Customer feedback is limited, but predominantly good.
Three average reviews read:
The amino acids should not be an issue, but caffeine-related side effects can include jitters, nausea, headaches, and heart palpitations. Pregnant and nursing mothers are advised to consult a doctor prior to using HGH Promino Plus IGF-1. The same advice is offered to anyone with existing health problems or concerns.
HGH Promino Plus IGF-1 Availability and Pricing
Several online stores stock HGH Promino Plus IGF-1. Prices vary from one supplier to the next and range from $50 to around $80.
There does not appear to be a money back guarantee.
The Bottom Line
HGH Promino Plus IGF-1 contains a few good ingredients, but the quantities are unknown and customer feedback is limited so it is hard to gain an insight into the benefits the formulation may offer.
The price tag is not particularly high when compared to some other HGH releasers, but the lack of a guarantee makes HGH Promino Plus IGF-1 a bit of a gamble and the addition of caffeine could also entail side effects. HGH Promino Plus IGF-1 may produce some good results, so it cannot be discounted entirely, but many better alternatives are available.
